Teachers

James, one of the founders of the London Music Academy – as well as the London Guitar Academy – teaches guitar from his studio in Queens Park. (That said, he teaches all over London, all over the world.) His enthusiasm is infectious, his know-how second-to-none. He’s a songwriter, performer and producer, but teaching guitar is his real passion, a genuine calling. He grew up in the North West but said goodbye to Cheshire in the mid-90s when he made North West London his home. James has taught hundreds of students, those setting out on their guitar journey and those far advanced along the road. He’s taught improvisational skills to Vanessa Mae (not a guitarist!) He’s taught the boys from Take That how to wield the axe.

As a session guitarist, James has played major gigs, tours and festivals. As a dedicated teacher he helps all abilities, all styles, fun and progress guaranteed.
